Sparks (Grades K-2)
Our Sparks program has a staff of people who listen to verses, assist with handbooks, and coordinate a game time for the children. Each week there is a lesson about events and people found in the Bible.
Truth & Training (Grades 3-5)
There is a crew of people interacting with our T & T group. They have a game time, handbook and learning time and council time which includes singing and biblical instruction. The T & T’s annual Grand Prix encourages parent involvement and parents are always welcome to observe the programs in action.

Children’s Church (grades K-3)
Welcome to Son Shine City!
At the beginning of the 10:45 am Worship Service, Children are seated with their family to experience worship with the congregation. Prior to the Pastor’s sermon, the children are dismissed by announcement. Upon dismissal, the children are escorted by the teacher to the Children’s Ministry Center.
The weekly activities will vary, but will always include a Bible lesson. Other activities may include: memory verse, coloring sheets, prayer, song time and crafts. All of these activities will reinforce the Bible lesson.
Children’s Church is approximately 45 minutes long and parents will pick up their children in the Children’s Ministry Center at the conclusion of the 10:45 am Worship Service.
On special occasions, such as Christmas and Easter, there will be no separate children’s ministry. This will allow families time to worship together.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL (Age 4-Grade 6)
VBS week is June 17-21, 2024
Each year we have an exciting theme which is centered around dynamic Bible teaching, creative crafts, fun and inspiring songs and a service project which involves the children in some “friendly” competition.
